NON SURGICAL NOSE JOB

How much does it cost?

The answer to this questions depends on the amount of Dermal Filler needed to achieve your look? Typically pricing in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Edmonton is around $1000 dollars - this is for one syringe of product injected. Prices will vary based on product used and injectors experience level.

Would I be a good candidate for a non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Your best bet is to go and see a reputable cosmetic doctor to get an educated opinion. Be sure to let them know exactly what you want to achieve. Be direct and ask “is this possible”? If they say no…believe them.

Is it possible to slim and shorten my nose without rhinoplasty?

A non-surgical nose job is a wonderful method to use for dents, irregularities, bumps or noses that are too small. Remember that Dermal Filler Nose Jobs add volume and therefore are not best if your goal is to slim or shorten the nose. Still start by consulting a local aesthetics doctor to get an expert opinion first. They will be able to tell you what your next step should be.

Would Dermal Fillers in the Nose Bridge Work for a Bulbous Tip?

The answer to this question is based on the skill of your injector. HA Filler placed improperly can make the Bulbous nasal tip look larger. An injector who places the HA Filler into the bridge of the nose will be able to provide balance for the tip. Start by seeing a cosmetic doctor and go through the consultation process.

What can I do about an indentation in my nose?

Dermal Fillers can be used very effectively to fill in a dent in the nose. There will be great improvement but it will not be gone completely. See a qualified cosmetic doctor as this is a delicate procedure. Once you have gotten the non-surgical nose job see how you feel. If you are happy with the result great! You can avoid a rhinoplasty.

Will a non-surgical nose job improve the symmetry and aesthetics of my nose?

Dermal Fillers can be used successful to enhance facial symmetry and overall aesthetics of the nose and face. See a cosmetic doctor for a consultation and be very clear on what exactly you are looking to achieve. A good cosmetic doctor will tell you openly what is possible and what is not.

How old do I need to be before getting a non-surgical nose job?

You definitely want to make sure that all your growing is done before you start looking at a non-surgical nose job. A client should be over 18 years old before this procedure. Rhinoplasty is sometimes done on young patients due to health necessity.

Could I benefit from a non-surgical nose job if I want a more defined bridge for my nose?

Absolutely! Properly placed filler of the right consistency and amount can do wonders for defining the nose bridge. Make sure you see a cosmetic doctor and get a thorough consultation before you start. Be clear with your goals or the look you wish to achieve. Your cosmetic doctor should be looking at symmetry and proportion to the rest of the face.

Who can do a non-surgical nose job for me?

Procedures that use hyaluronic acid, neuro-modulators and other injected products should exclusively be done by a trained cosmetic doctor or a delegated nurse injector. At Dr. Bector Cosmetic, Dr. Bector does the procedure himself.

THREAD LIFTS

BOTOX & XEOMIN

What is Botox?

Botox in the cosmetic world is used to relax muscles that cause the skin above them to wrinkle. Botox effectively prevents these muscles from contracting and therefore prevents fine lines and wrinkles on the surface skin. Botox is a brand name for botulism toxin, other brands include Dysport and Xeomin.

Is Botox the right treatment for me?

If you would like to address wrinkles, both existing and preventatively, Botox is your treatment. The injection addresses frown lines, crows feet, forehead creases, smokers lines around the mouth, downturned smiles, and chords within the neck.
Botox should not be confused with dermal fillers. Botox will not fill in lots of volume.

What should I expect to pay for Botox?

Most medical doctors charge $10-$20 for Botox in the greater Toronto area. Some doctors will charge for a treatment area, for instance half the face, but most doctors charge per unit. If you are getting Botox at a price range between $5 - $9 per unit something might be wrong. Many med spas offer Botox that is diluted, less effective and more dangerous. Make sure that the Botox being injected is pure, not mixed with other ingredients, the right dose and injected into the right muscle. Do not price shop Botox.

Would Dermal Fillers in the Nose Bridge Work for a Bulbous Tip?

I strongly recommend that you see a cosmetic doctor who understands facial anatomy and has taken additional courses and certification in facial aesthetics. Although Botox is not as complex as surgery it requires an understanding a facial symmetry and how the underlying muscles interact with each other. A botched Botox job will last between four and six months. It's just not worth it to shop for price alone! See a qualified medical professional.

What can I do about an indentation in my nose?

There's not much to do prior to your Botox injections. Make sure that during your consultation your cosmetic doctor has informed you of the number of units they will be injecting and the price per unit. If you are taking supplements or medication be sure to inform your cosmetic doctor during the consultation process.

They also recommend that you should not lie down as product may migrate two unintended areas of the face. Completely avoid facial massage or rubbing of the face for at least 48 hours as this may move the product as well.
Most patients who get Botox are able to resume their daily activity immediately. It isn't normal to have slight redness or bruising but this should be remedied to quickly and not linger. Heaviness in the area usually indicates over injection of the Botox.

Are Botox results easy to see?

If you're injected by a qualified cosmetic doctor others should not be able to tell that you got Botox. Your face should is essentially look Younger and more fresh.

What are the potential side effects of using dermal filler?

The most common side effects are swelling or bruising of the area that is being treated. With the use of cannula techniques these side effects can be minimized.
Infection due to injection is rare and is possible with any procedure that breaks the skin. Proper cleansing and disinfection will further minimize this risk.
Scar tissue formation after injection is also possible, but rare. Use of newer fillers once again minimizes this potential side effect.
More serious side effects associated with injection into a blood vessel are extremely rare. This can lead to tissue break down (necrosis) and in some very rare instances blindness (with injection into a blood vessel that supplies blood to the optic nerve). Using cannulas to inject in the areas around the eyes, and avoiding injection of areas that have arteries that communicate with the blood supply of the eye greatly reduces this risk.
